Royal Mail industrial action

Horsey Chick currently mail orders to customers via Royal Mail Special Delivery. We state delivery of orders within 3-5 working days (UK) and within 8 working days (overseas).

So far this year we have achieved a service level of 97% of orders mailed to customers within less than 3 working days. Far from resting on our laurels, we continue working to improve on this.

As you’ll be aware, there has been industrial action by Royal Mail employees recently which has led to a delay of a few days on delivery of our orders. We are in contact with Royal Mail about this and are advised of further strike action occurring during the week of 15^th October.

We are assured that Special Delivery mail continues to be a priority throughout the period of disruption. Royal Mail have well developed contingency plans, and will do all they can to deliver Special Delivery items on the due day. Horsey Chick shall continue to dispatch in our usual timely fashion.
